What?
Chaotic Neutral (CN, .:CN:.) is a small, eclectic brand that plays in a variety of non-realistic genres- as I see it, SecondLife removes the boundaries of reality, so why not indulge in it? The keystones of the brand are the free complete-avatars intended for roleplayers, but other items are also available for sale. What they are really depends on what dice I roll that day.

Why?
One of the primary reasons I remain in SL is the roleplay communities. These areas provide a unique creative outlet where people can simultaneously be something beyond themselves and their true identity with the In Character/Out of Character connections; in a healthy community, you will find characters that despise each other, but the players behind them are best of friends. While equally subject to the issues faced by other crowds – drama, mismanagement, etc. – they can be the ones that fully understand the impact of these problems.
Roleplay communities are not often built out of a gold-lined pocket- most have difficulty being self-sustaining, the staff are volunteers, and the owners make sacrifices to keep them alive. As someone who has received the benefits of these actions, I feel it is only right to give back if I have the ability. Hence, I created the free roleplaying kits with the intent to enable people to integrate more easily into communities without fearing their avatar appearance would be judged, and therefore hopefully stick to their new realm and support it.
I also just enjoy creating, and sometimes I will make something I think worthy of sharing with others. If I make some money off of it, great; if not, oh well- I’m not in it to be a major entrepreneur.
How?
With the free kits and their accessories, I use donations I have collected over time to pay for uploads and materials. This enables me not to stress over creation versus personal interests. In fact, I keep all of the funds on a separate account to be sure of this.
When?
I originally started creating back around the spring of 2008, creating under the brands «Dynamic Recluse» (DR) and Realms of Aledar (RoA), a medieval-fantasy roleplay sim. After some differences in views with RoA, I entered into a venture of my own fantasy roleplay area under the name of ][ Crux ][ and rebranded a number of the kits in the summer of that year; my other, non-roleplaying related offerings remained under my personal DR label.
After a major falling out in the spring of 2009, I quit Crux and took my creations with me; I sat on them for some time while I immersed myself working at DV8 and personal blogging. However, roleplaying came back into my life thanks to a lovely lady named AineMari drew me into the land of Incorrigible that summer. With the leaves of 2009 falling, I finally began to dust things off and rise out of the ashes with something that strikes a cord for me: Chaotic Neutral.
Meaning?
I chose the name Chaotic Neutral because it is primarily the nature of all my roleplaying characters in SL or RL. In fact, one of my most memorable instances occurred while playing Dungeons & Dragons: I rolled a critical 20 to steal a teammate’s pants… under his plate armor. For the pure sake that I could. From there on, my characters have more or less been playing on whim with their own desires to guide them, and my creative tendencies are much the same way.
